ESN Bristol are going to OXFORD!
Oxford is a beautiful city, home to one of the best universities in the world and is also where a lot of Harry Potter is filmed (exciting!). We shall be going on a walking tour to find out more about this historical city as well as giving you the opportunity to explore by yourselves.
The plan is to meet at the entrance to Bristol Temple Meads train station at 9:00 on the 21st of February to travel together by train to Oxford. We will then be taken on a walking tour with a *private* tour guide who will show us around the city and tell us about its history and the colleges of the university. This will be from 12 - 2:30pm, after which you will have plenty of time to explore until we meet back at Oxford train station at 7pm to travel back to Bristol.
To get to Bristol Temple Meads from Redland or Clifton (or the University) it is very easy, you just take the number 8 or 9 First Great Western bus which is only £1 if you show your student card :)
Tickets will be £20 for ESN Members (with an ESN card) and £25 for non-members and include travel to and from Oxford as well as the private walking tour! This is a great deal and the cheapest way you could really get to know the city.
We will be selling tickets in the Refectory on Wednesday 11th February and Thursday 12th of February from 4-5pm, but please register on this form before Wednesday at midday if you would like to come on the trip! Please post on the event below if you would like a ticket but are unable to make the sale times and we shall try to arrange an alternative.
